Peraturan Menteri Negara Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara (Permenpan) Nomor PER/07/M.PAN/4/2008 Tentang Jabatan Fungsional Apoteker Dan Angka Kreditnya, diterbitkan dengan pertimbangan a) bahwa jabatan fungsionaI Apoteker dan Angka Kreditnya yang diatur dalam Keptusan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara Nomor 140/KEP/M.PAN/11/2003 tentang Jabatan Fungsional Apoteker dan Angka Kreditnya tidak sesual dengan pekembangan tuntutan kompetensi dan pfofesi Apotekek; b) bahwa hubungan dengan hal tersebut dipandang perlu mengatur kembali jabatan fungsional Apoteker dan Angka Kreditnya dengan Peraturan Menteri Negara Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara.
